A Heartfelt Message from Nita Strauss
I see those of you who have been with me from the start, as well as those who joined as the light began to shine. Not only is your loyalty valued, but it is a fundamental part of my journey. I’m stronger, bolder, and more motivated than ever thanks to you. I rise with you as I rise.
I’ve always been motivated by music, but the people that surround me—the community, the friends, and the fans—are what give that passion purpose. One thing has remained consistent throughout my career, from my early days of playing in small bars with a stage that could hardly accommodate my guitar to my performances in front of enthusiastic arenas: your faith in me. You’ve encouraged me to work harder, helped me get over self-doubt, and reminded me that every note I play has the ability to link us in ways that words can’t always.
In actuality, this journey hasn’t always been easy. There are hardships behind the blaring lights and the yelling amplifiers—times when I felt worn out and wondered if I had the strength to keep going. But I thought about you during those times. What keeps me going are the supportive comments, the faces in the audience, and the energy that roars back at me when I give it my all on stage. I dig deeper and don’t give up because of that.
I don’t think it’s just me up there every time I take my guitar out. I see us all. I keep with me those who were inspired by a riff or a lyric, the little girl who picked up a guitar because she dared to believe, and the admirers who stood in line only to shake hands or smile. And for that reason, I never rise alone. I rise because every performance is infused with your voices, passion, and strength.
I want you to understand how important this relationship is to me. I try not to take it lightly. You’ve turned this into a calling rather than just a job. We’ve created something together that goes beyond the music. It’s a strong, resilient, and courageous expression community.
In fact, it feels like the voyage is only getting started. There is still so much more to produce, distribute, and overcome. And I swear that I will continue to give everything I have, not only for myself but for all of us, no matter where this path takes me.
