An open letter from Kelsea Ballerini to her fans and the entire Ballerini community
My my friends,
As I sit down to write this, my heart is full of thankfulness. Looking back on my journey—from a small-town girl with a guitar and a dream to standing on stages, sharing my stories through music, and experiencing the love from everyone of you—it’s nothing short of incredible. None of this would have been possible without you.
From the first song to the most recent tour, your continuous support has been the cornerstone of my career. Whether you streamed a song, sung along in your car, attended a concert, or sent an encouraging letter, each and every moment meant the world to me. You’ve given me the guts to write my truth, to embrace every stage of my life, and to grow—not just as an artist, but as a person.
Music has always been a method for me to communicate stories—of loss, joy, and discovering myself amidst life’s chaos. But the most lovely aspect of it all has been how you’ve connected with these songs, incorporated them into your own narrative, and welcomed me into your lives. Letters, lyrics tattoos, and memories from gigs are what remind me why I do what I do.
Thank you to every fan, to everyone who believed in me, to my great staff, and to my family, who have supported this dream since the beginning. Thank you for allowing me to develop, for celebrating every milestone with me, and for being by my side through it all.
