To My Dear Nightwish Family, Fans, and the Entire Symphonic Metal Community:
As I sit down to write this letter, my heart is filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and enormous admiration for the trip we’ve taken together. It’s been an incredible journey, filled with music, passion, and emotions that transcend time. Today, I’d like to take a moment to convey my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has helped, supported, and believed in me during my career.
To Nightwish:
We created something beautiful right from the first note we played together. The music we created was more than just a compilation of tunes and lyrics; it was a live, breathing force that moved hearts and connected souls all across the world. Those years with Nightwish changed me as both an artist and a person. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something so remarkable. Tuomas, Emppu, Jukka, and all of the amazing artists that supported me—thank you for sharing your talent, vision, and steadfast commitment to music. Regardless of where life has taken us, our legacy will endure.
To the fans:
You are the driving force behind all we’ve built. Your voices elevated our songs, your unflinching allegiance saw us through storms, and your passion kept the music alive long after the final notes died. From sold-out arenas to tiny acoustic shows, your enthusiasm was always present, nourishing my spirit. Your letters, artwork, and unwavering support mean more to me than words can ever express. I’ve read your letters, felt your emotions, and kept your love in my heart. Thank you for supporting me, embracing my solitary journey, and never letting the music die.

We’ve created something extraordinary: a whole world where emotions are limitless, songs are powerful, and voices soar above the imagination. Being a member of this genre has been an honour, and I am pleased to have contributed to its development. To every musician, fan, and visionary in our field, keep pushing the creative envelope.
