Netflix is set to premiere a new documentary series titled “Fighting Irish” on March 17, 2025, offering an in-depth look into the storied history and tradition of Notre Dame Football. This six-part series will chronicle the evolution of the Fighting Irish, from their early days to their current status as a powerhouse in college football. Viewers can expect exclusive interviews with legendary figures such as coaches Brian Kelly and Lou Holtz, as well as former quarterback Joe Montana. The series aims to provide unprecedented access to the program, capturing the essence of what it means to be part of the Notre Dame family. Jack Swarbrick, Notre Dame’s Director of Athletics, expressed enthusiasm about the project, stating that it will offer fans a unique glimpse into the history, tradition, and values that define the program. “Fighting Irish” is a collaborative effort between Netflix Original Documentaries and Notre Dame Athletics. The series will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix starting March 17, 2025.
