To the Mavericks organisation, fans, and the entire Mavericks community: As I reflect about my experience with this great organisation, my heart is filled with love and respect. It has been a deep honour to serve as head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, a franchise and city that have played an important role in my professional development.
From the moment I went into the Mavericks’ arena—first as a player, then as a coach—I sensed the unfailing support and love of this town. The passion you bring to every game, the energy you put into every cheer, and the faith you have in me and our team are absolutely amazing.
Thank you to the Mavericks players for putting your trust in my leadership and for your daily dedication on the field. You are the heartbeat of this organisation, and seeing your progress and determination motivates my mission. To the fans, your dedication, especially in difficult times, is what makes this series exceptional. Every day, you remind us why we do the things we do.
The Mavericks organisation has given me the opportunity to develop, learn, and lead, and I am eternally grateful for the faith placed in me. We’ve created something amazing together, and I’m thrilled to see what the future holds as we pursue greatness. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of such a rich legacy.
