To the Cavaliers organization, beloved fans, and the entire city of Cleveland:
From the time I arrived in Cleveland, I sensed something special in the air: a hunger, a passion, and a profound love for the game that permeated every part of this amazing city. Today, I write this letter not only as a player, but also as a man whose life has been shaped by my time as a Cleveland Cavalier.
I’d want to begin by thanking the Cavaliers organization. Thank you for believing in me, receiving me with open arms, and allowing me to represent this legendary franchise. From the front office to the coaching staff to my teammates, each of you has helped shape my journey. You challenged me, encouraged me, and helped me become the best version of myself both on and off the court. Wearing the Cavaliers jersey became more than just a symbol of basketball; it also represented pride, tenacity, and family.
To Coach J.B. Bickerstaff and the whole coaching staff, your advice, confidence in my abilities, and commitment to creating something unique in Cleveland meant everything to me. Every practice, every film session, and every difficult situation served as a foundation for something greater. To my teammates, you are my brothers. We went into fight together. We celebrated victories and suffered defeats, constantly pushing one other to be better. We developed a rare and genuine friendship in that locker room, and those memories will stay with me for the rest of my life.
