As of April 2025, no unsettling news had been reported about Kimi Räikkönen or the Sauber F1 Racing Team. Räikkönen, the 2007 Formula One World Champion, will retire from Formula One at the end of the 2021 season following a stellar career with Sauber, McLaren, Ferrari, Lotus, and Alfa Romeo.

Räikkönen has kept a modest profile since his retirement, focusing on personal activities and family life. He has made infrequent appearances in the F1 paddock, notably as visiting the Sauber garage at Monza in 2023, but there have been no reports of any health difficulties or any concerns about him.

The Sauber F1 Team, now known as Kick Sauber, has made significant changes to its driver lineup for the 2025 season, adding Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto to replace Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu. However, these developments are unrelated to Räikkönen’s retirement from professional racing.

Fans and the motorsport world continue to hold Räikkönen in high respect, recognizing his achievements to Formula One and the distinct personality that won him the nickname “The Iceman.” His legacy in the sport lives on, and there is no reason to be concerned about his current health.
