To the Wildcat Family of Villanova,
I feel like there aren’t enough words to convey how deeply grateful I am as I sit down to write this. I have to try, though. This letter is more than simply a reflection; it is a sincere thank you to a community that supported, encouraged, and shaped me during every stage of my coaching career.
To me, Villanova, you were more than simply a program. You served as a foundation. A family. A place where young men became leaders, where coaches like me discovered growth, vision, and clarity, and where passion met purpose. You taught me the value of believing, building, and—above all—belonging.
Thank you to everyone of the guys I’ve had the honor of knowing, whether we played together, spoke encouragingly, or met during the recruiting process. Every day was made worthwhile by your tenacity, hunger, and unwavering commitment to preserving the Wildcat heritage. You made the grind meaningful. You made every terrible defeat, every exciting victory, and every late practice into lessons I will always remember.

Thank you to the administration, my fellow coaches, and the innumerable staff members who work behind the scenes for fostering an atmosphere where compassion is never sacrificed for success or perfection. I will always be grateful for the gift of your faith in me, especially during times of doubt.
It’s common to refer to the Villanova way as a culture, tradition, or legacy. However, it goes beyond that. It’s a spirit that continues to influence basketball and people all around the country. Being a part of that makes me incredibly proud.
Every coach’s path is different, and as mine develops, I take with me every lesson learned, every memory made, and every bond formed inside the Villanova family. I am filled with humility as well as pride since I am aware that I am standing on the shoulders of giants and that Villanova helped shape who I am today.
Know that I will always be your supporter, ally, and admirer as I move forward in life and as a coach. A piece of me will always be blue and white, no matter where I go.
