Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day faces intense pressure following a stern ultimatum related to his team’s performance against Michigan.

Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day look to overcome Michigan in 2025.

The Ohio State Buckeyes lost to Michigan for the fourth consecutive year, despite head coach Ryan Day leading them to the National Championship in the 2024–25 campaign.

The Buckeyes had a great season, but everyone in Columbus wants to take down Michigan. Day has had great success as Ohio State’s head coach, but holds a 1-4 record against the Wolverines.

Michigan defeated the Buckeyes 13-10 in Ohio Stadium despite having a weak 8-5 record and missing the College Football Playoffs.

The Buckeyes are among the preseason favorites to win the National Championship in 2025-26.

However, it won’t be an easy road back, as Ohio State lost many players, including quarterback Will Howard, to the NFL.

Julian Sayin and Lincoln Kienholz are battling it out at quarterback for the Buckeyes. It appears to be Sayin’s job to lose, and his performance will be critical to Ohio State’s success next season.

Day and the Buckeyes have a big season ahead as they look to go back-to-back as National Champions. However, it will also be crucial to take down their rival, Michigan, to avoid five straight losses.
