PUMA and Tyrese Haliburton respond to critics with their new “Overrate That” t-shirts.

Tyrese Haliburton wants to become one of the greatest Pacers of all time, and the Indiana Pacers are only one victory away from making their first trip in the NBA Finals in 25 years. Although Haliburton is emulating NBA Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, he is also paving his own way at PUMA Basketball and dispelling his detractors with his most recent advertising campaign.

Online fans have previously accused Tyrese Haliburton of being a “overrated” player in the league because of his unconventional jump shot and pass-first mentality. Haliburton, however, is demonstrating that his second consecutive trip to the Eastern Conference Finals has not been an anomaly after his valiant comebacks and game-winning plays throughout these NBA Playoffs.

In direct response to the online critics, PUMA developed a limited-edition t-shirt and advertising campaign that said “OVERRATE THAT” after their most recent Game 4 victory over the New York Knicks, in which Haliburton scored 32 points and pulled down 15 rebounds.
