Tyson Ritter’s Open Letter to the Entertainment Community, Fans, and All-American Rejects

To the Entertainment Family, My Bandmates, and Our Amazing Fans,

My heart is bursting with appreciation as I sit here thinking back on the years of music, experiences, and events that have moulded my life. This letter serves as my little attempt to express how grateful I am to everyone who has shared in this adventure. The connections, the dreams we have in common, and the transformative experiences that have made this journey unique are more significant than the music we have made together.

To my family, bandmates, and musical brothers, Nick, Mike, and Chris:

With just our instruments, our unadulterated love, and our faith in the transformative power of music, we were a bunch of young people pursuing a dream when we formed this band. We’ve come up with something together that goes beyond simply being a band. We’ve developed into more than simply partners—we’ve become a family—through all of the late-night writing sessions, the demanding tours, and the creative setbacks.

I appreciate you believing in what we might achieve together, encouraging me to improve, and entrusting me with your skills. The All-American Rejects are more than simply a name; they are a symbol of our tenacity and common goal. I’m incredibly pleased of what we’ve accomplished and even more thrilled about what lies ahead.

All of this is possible because of our fans—our motivation, our heartbeat, and our travelling family. Your support has been the driving force behind every song, show, and stage we’ve ever taken, regardless of whether you’ve been with us since “Swing, Swing” or you only learnt about us yesterday. We are reminded of why we do what we do by your unshakeable dedication, your messages about how our music has impacted your life, and your voices chanting back our songs louder than the amplifiers.

You’ve helped us get through the bad times and made the good times much better. You’ve been there, making every moment memorable, whether it’s modest acoustic performances or crowded arenas. We appreciate you being the lifeblood of this journey, sharing your tales with us, and having faith in us. We will always be thankful to you because you are more than just fans—you are a member of our family.

We are grateful to the entertainment industry, including the producers, promoters, crews, and everyone working behind the scenes, for providing us with a platform, elevating our voices, and realising this goal. Collaboration is a constant in the music and entertainment industries, and we are incredibly appreciative of everyone who has put in many hours behind the scenes to realise our vision.

I know that without each of you, none of what we have accomplished and everything we have yet to create would be possible. I sincerely appreciate you providing this young musician from Stillwater, Oklahoma, with the opportunity to express his emotions via music.

Cheers to the memories we have already made and will make in the future. The trip goes on.

With appreciation and affection,
Ritter, Tyson
