An Open Letter from Stana Katic to My Devoted Fans and the Entire Entertainment Community
Dear Friends, Supporters, and Fellow Dreamers.
As I sit down to write this letter, my heart is overflowing with gratitude, and my spirit is full of appreciation for the adventure we’ve taken together. Reflecting on my career path, I am reminded that none of it would have been possible without your undying love, support, and encouragement—both my devoted fans and the entire entertainment community. Today, I’d like to offer my heartfelt gratitude for being the foundation that has fuelled the growth of my work over the years.
When I initially started acting, I had no idea what great adventures and milestones awaiting me. Each character I’ve had the luxury of playing, from dark crime dramas to heartwarming stories, has provided me with the opportunity to tell a meaningful story. Your faith in my abilities and consistent support gave me the courage to push limits and embrace the difficulties that came my way.
To my great fans, you have been the driving force behind my journey. Your excitement, loyalty, and passion have kept me grounded and inspired throughout my career. Whether it was your enthusiasm for Castle, your unshakeable support for Absentia, or your emotional words on social media, your voices were heard louder than any applause. You have not only followed my journey; you have been a vital part of it, for which I am eternally thankful.
To my colleagues in the entertainment industry, thank you for fostering an environment that values creativity and collaboration. Every director, writer, producer, and colleague actor I’ve worked with has contributed to my journey, teaching me things that extend far beyond the craft of acting. You’ve been my partners in bringing stories to life, and our shared enthusiasm has made our work truly unique.
To the industry’s unsung heroes: behind every scene and performance are countless individuals who work diligently to create magic. Thank you for your dedication, writers, crew, and producers. We could not do what we do without you.
And to the larger entertainment community, thank you for creating an environment in which creativity can thrive, voices can be heard, and tales that inspire and connect us can be told. The entertainment sector is special in that it crosses borders and brings people together via shared experiences. It’s an honour to be a member of this community and contribute to its rich tapestry of tales.
As I look to the future, I have a renewed sense of purpose and unwavering conviction in storytelling’s ability to alter lives.
