An Epochal Open Letter
To My Brothers in Rush and the Canadian Rock Community,
As I pen this, I am overcome with gratitude and reverence for the journey we’ve shared. To Geddy and Alex, my fellow architects of Rush, and to our broader Canadian rock family—this letter is as much a tribute as it is a reflection on what we’ve built together.
Decades ago, we set out as dreamers, armed only with passion, determination, and the belief that music could transcend boundaries. We played not just for fame, but for the love of creating something timeless. With every album, every song, and every stage we graced, we told stories—not just of our lives, but of the human experience.
To our peers in the Canadian rock community, you’ve shown that this vast and rugged country is a wellspring of talent, diversity, and resilience. Together, we’ve created a legacy that proves Canada is not just a backdrop to global music but a force within it. From smoky clubs to roaring arenas, we’ve shared stages, inspired one another, and proved the power of collaboration.
To Geddy and Alex—my brothers in creativity—thank you for the countless hours of pushing limits and redefining what music could be. We’ve faced triumphs and trials, but through it all, we’ve remained a family.
And to the fans, the lifeblood of every chord we’ve struck—thank you for believing in us. Your unwavering support has been the fuel for our journey.
