Caitlin Clark, the star of Indiana Fever, never takes a day off, including her birthday. She worked out with the Fever on Wednesday, her 23rd birthday, which the entire crew celebrated.
Clark was still focused on her big day, though, as the Fever tweeted a video of her hitting three-pointers after three-pointers in a space of three minutes. She took 54 shots from various spots around the perimeter and made 50 of them.
Sure, it was simply practice, and each shot was unguarded, but 92.6% is an unbelievable number. She attempted 54 shots and missed only four.
Clark can absolutely pull up from anywhere, as her patented logo threes are almost a given every time she takes the court. With that range, you can only image how many shots she posts on a regular basis. And, as the Fever demonstrated, her shooting drills resemble a video game.
Clark had a hectic birthday on Wednesday. Outside of the gym, Clark’s organisation collaborated with Scholastic’s national reading program to provide 22,000 books to underserved schools in Iowa and Indiana.
