CBS NEWS:Angel Reese issued serious warning about Kim Mulkey to LSU players in first loss to South Carolina

In a recent matchup between LSU and South Carolina, LSU star Angel Reese fouled out with four minutes remaining, contributing to the Tigers’ 76-70 loss. After the game, Reese took to social media, stating, “This game was on me but I’m rocking with my girls day in & day out! GEAUX TIGERS!”

LSU head coach Kim Mulkey defended her decision to reintroduce Reese into the game despite her foul trouble, emphasizing the importance of having their All-American player on the floor. Mulkey remarked, “When you don’t have your All-American on the floor to rebound… it takes you out of your rhythm, it takes you out of your confidence zone.”

The loss to South Carolina marks LSU’s first defeat of the season, highlighting the competitive nature of women’s college basketball. Both teams are expected to be strong contenders in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
