An open letter from Sadie Sink to Hollywood, my fans, and the whole entertainment community.
Dear Friends, Supporters, and the Incredible Entertainment Community:
As I sit down to write this, my heart is filled with gratitude, reflection, and appreciation for the experiences that have fashioned me into the artist I am today. From my first days on stage to the bright lights of Hollywood, this journey has been one of development, passion, and never-ending learning. None of this would have been possible without the great people who have supported me along the road. Today, I’d like to take a moment to convey my heartfelt gratitude to Hollywood, my fans, and everyone in this wonderful, tumultuous, and inspiring profession who has helped shape my tale.
To Hollywood, you’ve given me the freedom to experiment, push myself, and bring people to life in ways I never dreamed. The possibilities I’ve had on Broadway, television, and cinema have been nothing short of miraculous. You have accepted me, believed in my abilities, and encouraged me to develop as an actress, storyteller, and human being. The lessons I’ve learnt, the people I’ve met, and the experiences I’ve had will remain with me forever. Thank you for allowing me to create, dream, and share my voice with the world.
To my fans: your love and support mean more than words can explain. You’ve been there for me every step of the way, celebrating my victories, helping me through obstacles, and reminding me why I fell in love with acting in the first place. Whether it was watching Stranger Things, following my journey on the big screen, or simply sending me kind vibes, your energy and belief in me have been a continual source of support. You motivate me to keep going, to take risks, and to never lose sight of what truly matters—the storytelling that brings us all together.
To the whole entertainment industry—the directors, writers, producers, fellow performers, and great crews who work diligently behind the scenes—you are the heart and soul of the business. I am tremendously grateful for the partnerships, friendships, and creative moments we have had. You’ve challenged, encouraged, and helped me become the artist I am today.
As I look ahead, I am filled with appreciation and excitement for what is to come. This journey is far from ended, and I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and sharing stories that move, inspire, and challenge us all.
