Dear Texas Longhorn football fans and the entire Longhorn community,
As I think on my time at the University of Texas, I am overwhelmed with appreciation for the love, support, and opportunities you have provided me. This stage of my life has been transforming, and I am grateful to the amazing community that embraced me with open arms.
Thank you to my teammates and coaches for believing in me and pushing me to become a better athlete and person. The connections we’ve established on and off the pitch will be with me forever. The things I’ve learnt from you have been invaluable, and I’m grateful to have shared this trip with you.
Longhorn fans, you have been the lifeblood of my experience here. Your passion, intensity, and undying loyalty have inspired me every time I’ve gone onto the pitch. Whether it was your thunderous cheers on game days or your encouraging comments in quiet moments, you made me feel like I was a part of something bigger than myself. For that, I shall be eternally thankful.
Thank you to the entire Longhorn community for creating a climate that allowed me to grow both on and off the pitch. I’ll always treasure the connections, education, and experiences I’ve earned here.
As I follow my aspirations, I will carry with me the love and lessons of this great community. Texas will always be my home, and I am happy to have been a member of the Longhorn family.
