The Texas A&M Aggies are returning their best offensive lineman for the 2025 season.
The Texas A&M Aggies have experienced a tremendous amount of movement this offseason, but on Tuesday, they were able to keep a key piece of the jigsaw.
During an interview with TexAgs, rising senior offensive lineman Trey Zuhn declared his return for the 2025 season, where he will most likely start as left tackle again.
Zuhn has started 37 games as left tackle over the past three seasons, including every game in 2023 and 2024. He also started 11 of the Aggies’ 12 games in 2022 as a redshirt freshman, missing one due to injury.
The junior left tackle, who was chosen offensive captain this season, has met expectations, laying the way for the nation’s No. 22 rated rushing offence in 2024. He also led the charge for an Aggie run game that rushed for more than 300 yards in two consecutive games, something they had not done since 2018.
He was also a stumbling block for freshman quarterback Marcel Reed, who emerged as a serious playmaker after replacing Conner Weigman midway through the season and winning the Offensive Trenches Award at the team banquet.
Zuhn’s contributions to the Aggie attack continue long beyond this season, being only one of two A&M lineman to start every single game in 2023, as 200 rushing yards a game was a regular for the Aggies behind Zuhn and the other large bodies that constituted the Aggie line.
