To my beloved O’Jays, our valued fans, and the whole entertainment community, As I sit down to think on the trip of a lifetime, my heart is filled with appreciation and love for the unfailing support that has defined my career. This letter is my poor attempt to describe what words can only partially convey.

To my brothers, the O’Jays, this journey began with our shared dreams, our voices harmonising in unison, and our spirits aligning to create something everlasting. You have been my family, inspiration, and anchor at every high and down point in my life. We created timeless tunes together, and your enthusiasm and camaraderie have inspired me to give my all every step of the way.

To our fans, you are the music’s heartbeat. Every word we sang and every performance we gave was dedicated to you. Your clapping, cheers, and constant support have been the wind beneath our wings. From little clubs to large arenas, your presence transformed each location into a haven of love and connection. You’ve accepted our music not just as entertainment, but as a soundtrack to your lives, for which I am eternally thankful.

You gave the entertainment community the platform and climate it needed to grow. Your faith in our abilities and attempts to raise our voices cleared the door for us to share our skills with the world. Producers, promoters, broadcasters, and industry pioneers, your hard work behind the scenes has helped shape the O’Jays’ history and my career.

This path has not been easy, but your love and support have been a guiding light for me through every obstacle. As I move forward, I take with me the lessons, memories, and enormous delight of a life committed to music. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for the love, opportunity, and memories. You’ve not only enabled my work, but you’ve also improved my life in ways I never anticipated.

With infinite gratitude,

Eddie Levert
