An Epochal Open Letter by Chris Stapleton To Morgane, my fans, and the entire country music community: As I sit down to write this letter, I’m overwhelmed with appreciation for the fantastic path my life and profession have gone. It’s a trip made possible by the love, support, and encouragement I’ve received from so many great people.

To Morgane, my life and music partner: none of this would be possible without you. You’ve been my muse, co-writer, biggest supporter, and stabilising force. Even when I doubted myself, your belief in me remained steadfast. Every song I’ve written, every note I’ve played, and every moment I’ve spent on stage has been influenced by your love and the life we’ve created together. I’m eternally grateful to you.

My fans are the driving force behind my music. You’ve welcomed my music into your lives and let them serve as the soundtrack for your own stories. Whether you’ve been with me since the days of “Traveller” or are only discovering my music now, your enthusiasm and commitment mean everything to me. Every ticket you’ve purchased, every song you’ve sung along to, and every letter you’ve received has made this journey more rewarding than I could have dreamed.

I am deeply grateful to the country music community. This genre, with its rich traditions and heartfelt storytelling, has given me a home for my voice and soul. Thank you to all of my fellow artists, composers, musicians, and producers for constantly motivating and pushing me to improve. To the industry leaders who believed in me and my music, your faith has transformed my life forever.

The road hasn’t always been easy, but the love I’ve gotten has made it all worthwhile. I promise to continue giving you my genuine self via my music, to keep delivering meaningful stories, and to honour the roots of country music while stretching its bounds. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this journey with me. We created something very wonderful together, and I will be eternally thankful.

With all my love and gratitude,

Chris Stapleton
