Dear Depeche Mode family, As I reflect on this remarkable trip, I am amazed by the amount of love, devotion, and support that has sustained me throughout the years. Words cannot explain how grateful I am for the impact you have all played in shaping my life and career.

Thank you, Depeche Mode bandmates, for becoming my brothers in our shared voyage. Together, we’ve made something far greater than the sum of its parts. The songs we’ve made, the stages we’ve graced, and the moments we’ve created have shaped not only my career but also my identity. Your ability, creativity, and friendship have been a constant source of motivation.

To our fans, you are Depeche Mode’s heartbeat. Your unfailing enthusiasm, whether expressed through deafening applause at concerts, poignant notes, or simply sharing our music with the globe, has fuelled every note we’ve performed. You’ve been there through the highs and lows, reminding me that this journey is equally yours and ours.

Thank you, Mode4û community, for creating an environment in which music transcends barriers and brings people together. Your love and energy have given me the strength to grow as an artist and person. You’ve created an environment where vulnerability meets strength, and I’m eternally thankful.

As I look ahead, I promise to continue pouring my heart into every song, performance, and moment we have together. Depeche Mode’s narrative is far from over, and I am honoured to be on this journey with you all.

With infinite gratitude and love,

Dave Gahan
