An Epochal Open Letter from Klaus Meine to Scorpions, Fans, and the Whole Scorpions Community
To my Scorpions brothers, our fans, and the entire Scorpions family:
As I sit down to write this, my heart is filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and deep appreciation for the great trip we have taken together. Looking back on decades of music, emotion, and unforgettable moments, I am reminded that this band, community, and legacy were founded on something genuinely unique—a love of rock ‘n’ roll and an unbreakable tie among us all.
Thank you to my Scorpions brothers for a lifetime of music, camaraderie, and memories. We’ve been on this journey together, from our humble beginnings in Hanover to conquering the world’s biggest stages. We’ve written songs that have become anthems, performed in locations we never imagined possible, and stood with one other through highs and lows. This band represents more than just music; it’s a way of life. And I’m grateful to have shared this great journey with each of you.
There are no words to explain how grateful I am to our fans—the true soul of Scorpions—for your love and support. You’ve supported us through every album, tour, every note we’ve performed. You’ve sang Wind of Change, Rock You Like a Hurricane, and Still Loving You with the same zeal we did when we originally composed them. Your voices, enthusiasm, and undying loyalty have sustained us, inspired us, and given us the courage to rock the world. This would not have been possible without you.
From sold-out arenas to the most intimate performances, from large festivals to solitary moments backstage, this journey has been about connection, passion, and the power of song. The Scorpions fandom is more than that; it’s a family. A family that has pulled us up, celebrated our victories, and supported us through the most difficult times.
