Dear Halestorm Family, Fans, and My Rock ‘n’ Roll Soulmates:
As I sit here, guitar in hand, reflecting on this great journey, my heart is full with thankfulness. This letter is for you—the believers, dreamers, headbangers, and daring spirits who have supported me through every high note, grief, triumph, and hardship. This adventure would not have been possible without you, and today I want to express my gratitude.
When we began Halestorm, we had no idea where the road would go. We only knew we had fire in our blood and an unstoppable passion for music. From playing in small clubs and empty bars to selling out arenas and collecting accolades, your steadfast love and support have been vital at every stage. You’ve buoyed me up when I questioned myself, screamed my words back at me when I needed them the most, and demonstrated that rock ‘n’ roll is still very much alive—because of you.
My bandmates, Joe, Josh, and Arejay, are my brothers, soulmates in sound, and partners in crime. We’ve established something bigger than just music together: a movement. We’ve toured the world, performed alongside luminaries, and torn down barriers for women in rock, all while remaining true to ourselves. I’m eternally grateful for the blood, sweat, and riffs we’ve shared, and I wouldn’t change this voyage for anything.
To our fantastic fans: you are more than simply an audience; you are the heartbeat of Halestorm. You’ve shown up in the rain, the cold, and the heat of summer, fists raised and hearts full of love. You’ve let our music be the soundtrack to your lives, whether it was to get you through difficult times, boost your confidence, or simply make you feel alive. This means everything to me. You are the reason I shout, scream, and put every ounce of my soul into this song.
To the entire rock and metal community, thank you for welcoming me, pushing limits, and demonstrating that music is more than just sound; it is a way of life. It’s called revolt. It represents unity. It’s family.
