To the St. Louis Cardinals organisation, fans, and the entire Cardinals community: As I reflect on my time with the Cardinals, my heart is filled with gratitude for everything you’ve given me. From the first day I put on the iconic red and embraced the traditions of this great team, I felt the warmth and steadfast support of a town that adores baseball.

Thank you to the Cardinals organisation for believing in me and creating an environment in which I could develop as a player and a person. This franchise’s dedication to excellence and respect for the game’s history are what set it apart. You welcomed me into a legacy based on hard effort, teamwork, and honesty, and I am honoured to be a part of that.

To my wonderful colleagues, you’ve made every day at the stadium enjoyable. Your devotion, friendship, and shared desire for greatness have been both humbling and motivating. We’ve shared memories that I’ll cherish forever. Your dedication to Cardinals Nation is unparalleled. Whether at Busch Stadium or throughout the country, your cheers and unshakeable faith have been a continual source of inspiration. You have accepted me as one of your own, and I will always be grateful.

This message is more than just a thank you for your love and support; it is also a vow to continue giving my all for this team and city. I am happy to represent the Cardinals and wear this jersey with pride. We will continue to create memories and chase titles together. Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings. St. Louis will always be home.

I am forever grateful.

Nolan Arenado
