An Epochal Open Letter from Rebecca Lovell to Larkin Poe, Fans, and the Whole Poe Community

Dear Larkin Poe, our amazing fans, and the entire Poe community,

As I sit here writing this letter, my heart is filled with gratitude, love, and admiration for each and every one of you who has been a part of this great adventure. The journey that got us here was marked by passion, determination, and an unshakeable friendship that goes beyond music. Today, I’d like to thank you—for your constant support, belief in our profession, and unending love that has formed my career and Larkin Poe’s legacy.

Megan, my sister, my musical and life companion, this trip would not be the same without you. Together, we have created something genuinely unique, based in the deepest portions of our souls. From our early days of harmonising as toddlers to performing on some of the world’s biggest venues, your power, creativity, and energy have served as the cornerstone of Larkin Poe. We’ve pushed boundaries, stayed true to our heritage, and carved our own path. I am eternally grateful for the music we create and the memories we continue to make.

None of this would be possible without you, our great fans. You’ve been with us since the first notes we played till the booming audiences that now flood our shows. Your voices singing together, hands clapping together, and encouraging messages have provided us with the fuel we need to keep going. You have embraced our music, our progress, and our passion for real, unfiltered rock and blues, for which I am eternally grateful.

To the Poe Community—venues, producers, engineers, fellow artists, and everyone else who has been a part of our journey—you have given us the space to grow, experiment, and share our truth with the world. Your conviction in what we do has enabled us to be real, to take risks, and to remain fiercely independent while reaching heights we could only have imagined.

It’s more than just music. It is a movement. It is a family. And as we move forward, please know that I hold each of you in my heart with every note I sing and chord I play.

With all of my love and gratitude.
Rebecca Lovell
