An Open Letter from Susan Tedeschi to Tedeschi Trucks Band Members, Fans, and the Community
Dear beloved Tedeschi Trucks Band Members, Fans, and the entire Tedeschi Band Community,
As I sit down to write this letter, I’m overcome with appreciation for the great adventure we’ve had together. From the first note to the most recent encore, your unfailing support has been the driving force behind my career. Today, I’d like to convey my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for being the basis of the love, music, and growth that have shaped my life.
To my bandmates, thank you for your genius, ingenuity, and unwavering dedication. You have been my musical family along this journey, contributing passion and emotion to each performance. Your talent has motivated me to push myself, to dream greater, and to produce music that comes from the heart. Each rehearsal, recording session, and tour has demonstrated our mutual passion for the profession and dedication to changing people’s lives through music.
To our great fans: you are the reason we do what we do. Your energy, passion, and persistent loyalty have created a magical atmosphere at numerous venues. From the little clubs where I first discovered my voice to the sold-out arenas where we now perform, you’ve been there, singing along, dancing, and sharing your passion for music. You have given me strength on difficult days and celebrated with me on the good ones. For this, I am eternally grateful.
Thank you to the Tedeschi Band community for creating an environment in which I may grow not only as an artist but also as a person. Your generosity has served as a reminder of the value of community and teamwork. We’ve developed something far bigger than music—a family based on love, connection, and a common purpose.
As we look ahead, my heart is filled with hope and excitement for the music that will come. Thank you for joining me on this trip, believing in me, and being an important part of this story. You are my inspiration, motivation, and biggest blessing.
With all of my love and gratitude.
Susan Tedeschi
