An Epochal Open Letter from Ana Maria Marković.

To the incredible S.C. Braga, my beloved Croatia national team, our devoted fans, and the entire Croatia community,

As I sit down to write this, my heart is full of gratitude, love, and overwhelming admiration. This year has been nothing short of transformative, and I am grateful to each of you for your steadfast support, love, and encouragement.

Thank you to my great teammates, coaches, and staff at S.C. Braga for welcoming me into a club that feels like home. You’ve created an environment in which I can push my limits, improve as a player, and embrace the challenges that come with the game we all enjoy. Each training session, match, and shared success or loss has reinforced our camaraderie, and I am really pleased to wear the Braga crest. Your belief in me has motivated me to strive harder and offer my all, not only for myself, but also for this team and its aim of greatness.

To my Croatia national team family, representing our beautiful country on the international stage has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Wearing the red and white checkered jersey gives me incredible pride, and every time I step onto the field, I carry the hopes and dreams of a nation that never stops believing. I am really grateful to my teammates and coaches for believing in me and allowing me to participate to our shared journey. We play for more than just ourselves; we play for every Croatian who shares our ambitions, cheers us on, and celebrates with us.

And to the entire Croatian community, thank you for fostering an atmosphere in which I have thrived both on and off the pitch. From the streets of our metropolis to the smallest villages, I can feel our people’s pride and passion. This united attitude makes me happy to call Croatia my home and source of inspiration.

This year has been full of growth, challenges, and accomplishments. I’ve learnt, laughed, and cried, but most importantly, I’ve been supported by an amazing network of people and groups who have been there for me every step of the way. I am where I am now because of you.

As we look ahead to the future, I promise to continue working hard, proudly representing our colours, and giving my all to this sport that brings us together. Together, we will continue to strive for greatness and inspire the next generation to pursue their ambitions.

With my whole heart,
Ana Maria Marković
