Game Highlights:

First Quarter: Running back Jahmyr Gibbs opened the scoring with a 25-yard touchdown run, giving the Lions an early lead.

Second Quarter: The Vikings responded with two field goals by kicker Will Reichard (25 and 31 yards), narrowing the gap. The Lions extended their lead just before halftime with a 48-yard field goal by Jake Bates, making it 10-6.

Third Quarter: Reichard added a 51-yard field goal for the Vikings. The Lions answered with a 10-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jared Goff to Gibbs, bringing the score to 17-9.

Jahmyr Gibbs’ exceptional performance, totaling four touchdowns, set a new franchise record for the most touchdowns in a single season, with 20.

This win marked a historic achievement for the Lions, securing their first-ever No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs, granting them a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the postseason.

The Lions finished the regular season with a franchise-best 15-2 record, showcasing a resilient and disciplined team under head coach Dan Campbell.
