Haiden Deegan’s epochal open letter to the Haiden Fan Community, fans, and the AMA Supercross and Motocross Racing
To the entire Haiden Deegan community, my incredible fans, and the AMA Supercross and Motocross family,
As I take a moment to consider my trip thus far, I am genuinely overcome with thankfulness. Every step I’ve taken, from the first time I held onto a dirt bike’s handlebars to standing at the starting gate of the most competitive events, has been made possible by your constant love, support, and enthusiasm. I want to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done to help shape my career.
I want to express my gratitude to the AMA Supercross and Motocross organization for providing the best platform for young riders like me to pursue their dreams and push the boundaries of what is conceivable. In addition to enabling me to participate at the greatest level, your dedication to the sport has motivated other riders worldwide to follow their aspirations. I wouldn’t give a single one of the struggles, victories, and even failures that have helped me become the racer I am today.
You guys are the true MVPs, Haiden Army, my fans. Whether you’ve been with me since my amateur days or you’re new to the ride, your enthusiasm and faith in me keep me going every day. I see the support you display online, the comments you email, and the placards you carry at races. Every battle on the dirt is worth it when you can be heard cheering from the fans and see the sea of Deegan merchandise at every track. You inspire me to be my best self, and when I stand in line at that gate, I swear to always give you my all.
I would not be able to accomplish this without the support of my family, team, and all those working behind the scenes. We’ve traveled this path together, and I’m really grateful to have you by my side through the early mornings, late nights, sweat, and sacrifice. You have influenced me not only as a rider but also as a person, and I will always be appreciative of that.
This is only the start. There are more obstacles in the way, more ambitious objectives, and even more amazing experiences to come. I’ll keep working hard, pushing myself, and giving it my all for you as long as you’re there.
I appreciate your faith in me. Together, let’s continue to create history.
