While Greg McDermott will remain at the helm for now, the announcement indicates that the transition plan is officially in motion. McDermott, who has coached the Bluejays since 2010, has built the program into a perennial Big East contender and led Creighton to multiple NCAA Tournament appearances, including an Elite Eight run in 2023.
