Brittany Force is Keeping it in the Family

In the high-octane world of drag racing, the Force name is practically synonymous with speed, power, and legacy. Brittany Force, the daughter of NHRA legend John Force, has not only upheld her family’s racing tradition—she’s redefined it. With her fearless determination and fierce competitiveness, Brittany has become one of the most dominant drivers in Top Fuel drag racing, the fastest category in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA).

Born into a dynasty of drag racers, Brittany grew up around the roar of engines and the smell of burning rubber. Her father, John Force, is a 16-time Funny Car champion and one of the most recognizable figures in motorsports. While many children of racing icons may shy away from the pressure of living up to such a legacy, Brittany embraced it. She chose her own path within the NHRA by entering the Top Fuel category, which differs from her father’s Funny Car class, but is no less intense.

Since making her debut in 2013, Brittany has steadily climbed the ranks, earning respect not just because of her last name, but because of her undeniable talent and work ethic. In 2017, she made history by becoming just the second woman to win the NHRA Top Fuel world championship, following in the footsteps of trailblazer Shirley Muldowney. Her victory was a defining moment—not only for her career, but for women in motorsports. She proved that gender has no bearing when it comes to raw skill, strategy, and nerves of steel on the quarter-mile track.

What sets Brittany apart is her calm demeanor, her technical understanding of the sport, and her laser-sharp focus under pressure. She works closely with her team, including her crew chiefs and engineers, constantly analyzing data to gain even the slightest edge over her competition. And through it all, she maintains a strong family bond, often racing alongside her sisters, Courtney and Ashley Force, who have also made their marks in the NHRA.

Now, as she continues to compete at the highest levels, Brittany Force is not only carrying on the Force family tradition—she’s expanding it. With every race, every win, and every record broken, she reinforces that greatness runs in the family. More importantly, she’s inspiring a new generation of racers, proving that passion, dedication, and family roots can fuel champions for years to come.
