To the Phoenix Suns, their amazing supporters, and the entire Phoenix community,
I sincerely thank you.
As I reflect on this incredible journey—my time with the Suns, the support I’ve had in every arena, practice, and late-night grind—I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every one of you. This is more than just basketball; it’s about development, connection, legacy, and family.
When I initially came in Phoenix, I knew I was joining a team with passion, hunger, and history. But I hadn’t realized how much this community would shape me—not just as a gamer, but as a person. The Valley accepted me as one of its own. You allowed me the freedom to lead, evolve, play my game, and become a more complete version of myself on and off the court.
Thank you, Phoenix Suns organization, for believing in me. Thank you for believing in my vision and challenging me to improve it every day. The culture you’ve built here is based on respect, perseverance, and a never-ending quest of excellence, not just wins. From ownership to the front office, coaches to teammates, this environment has beyond an athlete’s expectations. I’m proud to wear this jersey. I am happy to represent this city.
To the Suns’ fans, the beating heart of the team, you’ve been there for me the entire way. Your spirit has never faltered despite difficult losses, tenacious comebacks, and electrifying successes. Your belief has been my source of drive. You have repeatedly reminded me that this game is about more than just the court. It’s about the individuals who make every moment count. I have seen the murals, felt the love on social media, and heard the deafening shout at Footprint Center. Phoenix, you are unique—in the nicest way.
And you, the extended community—the dreamers, the youngsters rocking #35, the families who pack the stands and the sidewalks with purple and orange pride—are the heart of our city. Your love has kept me anchored. Your hope has encouraged me. What about your spirit? It is unstoppable.
This open letter is not a goodbye. It is a celebration. It’s a thank you for everything we’ve built and continue to build. My journey here is far from done, and I am determined to give everything I have to this city, this team, and the legacy we are creating together.
We are pursuing something momentous. And with you at my side, I know it is achievable.
