Texas Longhorns wide receiver Isaiah Bond has seen his NFL Draft stock rise significantly following a standout performance at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. Bond clocked an official 40-yard dash time of 4.20 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 4.21 seconds set by Xavier Worthy in 2024.

Prior to the combine, Bond confidently predicted his record-breaking run, stating his intention to eclipse Worthy’s mark and expressing aspirations of achieving a sub-4.20 time. His prediction materialized, as he not only broke the record but also showcased his exceptional speed and athleticism.

Bond’s journey to this point has been marked by notable achievements. A former high school track star, he won state titles in Georgia for the 100-meter (10.51 seconds) and 200-meter (21.19 seconds) sprints. He began his collegiate career at Alabama, recording 99 receptions for 1,428 yards and 10 touchdowns over 41 games, before transferring to Texas. In the 2024 season with the Longhorns, Bond caught 34 passes for 540 yards and five touchdowns, while also contributing 98 rushing yards and an additional score.

Bond’s combine performance has elevated his draft prospects, positioning him as one of the most intriguing wide receiver talents in the upcoming NFL Draft. Teams seeking a dynamic playmaker with elite speed are likely to have Bond high on their draft boards, anticipating the impact he could bring to their offensive schemes.
