FIFA has entered into a significant broadcast distribution agreement with Evision, the media and entertainment division of e& (formerly Etisalat Group), to enhance the accessibility of FIFA’s content across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This partnership aims to bring a wide array of FIFA’s football content to fans in the MENA region through Evision’s platforms.
Evision has a history of securing exclusive sports broadcasting rights in the MENA region. Notably, it acquired exclusive rights for ICC cricket events, including both men’s and women’s tournaments, up until the end of 2027. This includes major events like the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, which was broadcast on Evision’s CricLife MAX channel, available on eLife TV, Switch TV, and the StarzPlay app across MENA.
This collaboration between FIFA and Evision is expected to further enrich the sports viewing experience for fans in the MENA region, providing them with greater access to FIFA’s football content through Evision’s established platforms.
