Dear family, fans, and the incredible Janet Jackson community,
As I pause to reflect on the journey that has taken me here, I am overcome with emotion—gratitude, humility, and love. I write this letter to express my heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for believing in me and lifting me higher than I ever imagined possible. This adventure was never mine alone; it was ours from the start.
Thank you to my family, the Jacksons, for providing the foundation upon which I grew. Growing up in a household full of music, movement, and perseverance formed my identity and fueled my purpose. I’ll always treasure the early recollections of watching my brothers perform with grace, strength, and passion. You demonstrated what excellence looked like, and I will always respect the legacy you established.
To my fans—my rhythm nation, my lifeline—your devotion has seen me through the highs and lows. You never wavered from the moment I published my debut record, through sold-out tours and quiet moments of worry. You have danced with me, grieved with me, and let me be vulnerable. You’ve accepted every stage of my development, and that acceptance given me the confidence to be unashamedly me. Your loyalty, energy, and unflinching support are at the center of everything I do.
Thank you to the entire Janet Jackson community—artists, collaborators, dancers, crew, stylists, directors, producers, and dreamers—for helping develop my voice and vision. From the studio to the stage, your genius and ingenuity transformed each endeavor into something bigger than I could have envisioned alone.
