Taylor, head coach of Jackson State University (JSU) football, got a prestigious proclamation from the Pike County Board of Supervisors, recognising his great leadership and the Tigers’ record season in 2024. The celebration, held in McComb, Mississippi, recognised Taylor’s exceptional accomplishments and the impact he has had on both the university and the larger community.

Under Taylor’s leadership, the Tigers experienced tremendous success in 2024, a historic run that cemented JSU’s place in college football. The team’s outstanding accomplishment included a dominant record, many conference victories, and a return to national prominence. Taylor’s strategic vision and ability to inspire his players contributed significantly to the Tigers’ success on and off the pitch.

Taylor’s commitment to greatness, dedication to student-athletes, and role in cultivating a culture of hard work and tenacity were all praised in the proclamation.
