To my spouse, the Michigan State Spartans family, the supporters who give our days meaning, and the Spartan community as a whole, which has supported us through decades of successes, setbacks, and change—
I am filled with appreciation and have a full heart as I write this letter. My adventure with Michigan State has been much more than a chapter in my life; it has been a blessing, a calling, and a home molded by devotion, love, and steadfast commitment.
Thank you, Tom, for allowing me to accompany you on this incredible journey through each season. I have witnessed the long nights, the aspirations you have for each young man wearing the green and white, and the sacrifices that are never captured by a camera. Not only has your enthusiasm influenced generations, but it has also influenced me. I learned from you that community is everything, loyalty is strength, and leadership is service. I am proud of the man you have always been as well as the coach you are.

You have demonstrated to me that greatness is not created in arenas but rather in quiet chats, preparation rooms, and the daily dedication to doing things the Spartan way.
