I write this letter with a heart full of gratitude, humility, and deep emotion to my dear FC Barcelona family, to every fan in the stands and beyond, and to the entire Barcelona community that has molded my life and path.
I realized I was entering something far bigger than a football team as soon as I put on the Barça crest as a young child. I was entering a family, a culture, and a legacy that would push, uplift, and eventually help me develop into the athlete and woman I am today. People who believed in me long before the world knew my name have knitted together every phase of my career.
Thank you to the club for patiently and visionarily fostering my dreams. I have learned discipline, resiliency, inventiveness, and the bravery to accept the responsibility that comes with wearing these colors at FC Barcelona, which has always been more than simply a place to play football. You provided me with experiences that altered the course of my life, players who became sisters, and coaches who improved my game and polished my mind. Together, every La Masia training session, tactical instruction, success, and defeat helped me develop a spirit that embodies Barça’s core values.
Gratuities to the supporters, the lifeblood of this organization. You have supported me when I was at my lowest and congratulated me when I was at my best. Your love has reminded me that football is about connection rather than competition, and your shouts have carried me and strengthened me. You have given me a sense of being noticed, appreciated, and greatly supported, whether it was in the vibrant atmosphere of the Estadi Johan Cruyff, the Camp Nou, or through letters from all over the world. We walk onto the field with pride and leave it with a purpose because of you.
You have given me a home, Barcelona community as a whole. I have been able to develop both personally and professionally because of this city’s streets, culture, people, and unwavering spirit. You helped a young dreamer become a champion by embracing her. You made it possible for women’s football to grow, and as a result, many young girls now see opportunities where there were previously only obstacles.
I know that my devotion, appreciation, and love for this club and community will never fade, regardless of whether the future holds fresh difficulties or uncharted territory. You have shaped my story, and for that, I am forever indebted.
