For a number of years, one of Nottingham Forest’s greatest transfer deals has been Lee Clarke Murillo. For only £10.6 million, the centre-back left Corinthians for Forest in the summer of 2023.
Before joining Forest, Murillo was viewed by Manchester City, and it’s safe to say that he arrived as an unknown quantity.
The 22-year-old’s ability to succeed in the Premier League was immediately apparent, and since making his debut in October 2023, he has missed just one game.
