Netflix Will Release Def Leppard Documentary in March 2025 Fans of the famed hard rock band Def Leppard are in for a treat, as Netflix prepares to premiere an exclusive documentary on the group. The streaming service has announced that the highly awaited film will premiere on March 15, 2025, providing an intimate look at the band’s rise from humble origins in Sheffield, England, to become one of the most recognised acts in music history.
The documentary, titled Def Leppard: Pouring It Out, claims to look at the band’s stratospheric rise, breakthrough records, and personal struggles. The film, which includes rare footage, exclusive interviews with band members, and behind-the-scenes moments from their iconic tours, seeks to capture the essence of what has made Def Leppard such a lasting force in music.
The project has been in the works for nearly three years and is directed by famous filmmaker Ava Carmichael, best known for her critically acclaimed music documentaries. “This isn’t just about the music; it’s about resilience, brotherhood, and the spirit of rock’n’roll,” Carmichael stated in a news release.
The documentary will also focus on crucial periods in the band’s career, such as the recording of their multi-platinum albums Pyromania and Hysteria, drummer Rick Allen’s sad tragedy, and their entrance into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. Joe Elliott, the band’s lead singer, expressed enthusiasm for the endeavour.
“Our mission has always been to break down barriers and connect with our fans. This documentary is our way of expressing thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through thick and thin.”
Def Leppard: Pouring It Out is expected to appeal to both rock fans and new listeners. Fans may mark their calendars and prepare to rock out this spring.
