An Epochal Open Letter by Peter Frampton
To: Herd, Humble Pie, My Fans, and the Entire Peter Frampton Community
Dear friends,
As I sit down to write this letter, I find myself reflecting on our great adventure together. It has been a journey filled with music, memories, and an outpouring of love and support from all of you. Today, I’d like to take a moment to offer my heartfelt gratitude to the Herd, Humble Pie, my global fan base, and everyone who has supported me throughout my career.
You were the first to recognise my potential when I first joined the Herd. You gave me a platform to express myself as a young musician, allowing me to grow and create my own sound. During those formative years, I learnt discipline, artistry, and the delight of creating something larger than myself. I will always treasure the friendship we had and the songs we created together.
I owe so lot to my rock brothers, Humble Pie. Our time together was more than simply music; it was a lesson in passion, tenacity, and the value of collaboration. The intensity we generated on stage, the chances we took, and the music we left behind are testaments to what we accomplished. I am eternally grateful for the friendships, teachings, and wonderful moments we shared.
What can I say to my fans? You’ve been my constant. Your unflinching support has been the heartbeat of my career, through highs and lows. You encouraged me when I questioned myself, filled concert halls with your voices, and embraced every note, song, and performance as if it were your own. Your belief in me fuelled my creativity and gave me the courage to keep going, even when the path was unknown.
Thank you to the entire Peter Frampton community for creating an environment conducive to the growth of my music. Your love has provided me with a career beyond my wildest expectations, and I am truly grateful to have shared my life’s work with you.
As I continue on this road, know that I am carrying each of you with me. You are responsible for the continuation of music. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
