An Open Letter from Ken Roczen to My Loyal Fans and the Entire Motocross and Supercross Community
Dear Fans, Friends, and the Motocross and Supercross Community,
I’m reaching out to you with gratitude, respect, and a heart full of appreciation for your unwavering support throughout my journey. Whether it was during moments of victory or the toughest challenges, your belief in me has been my driving force.
Motocross and Supercross are more than just sports to me—they are my life’s passion, my identity, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. But as with anything worth fighting for, there are battles, setbacks, and crossroads. Recently, I’ve faced circumstances that have forced me to make difficult decisions—ones that affect not only my career but also my health, my family, and my future.
Injuries, physical toll, and the mental weight of expectations are realities every athlete faces. I’ve always promised myself and my fans that I would give nothing less than 100% every time I throw my leg over the bike. However, there comes a moment when reflection is necessary—when the body and mind signal the need for a different approach.
This isn’t a goodbye letter, nor is it a sign of surrender. It’s a moment of honesty, transparency, and respect for myself, my family, my team, and you—the incredible fans who’ve stood by me through every twist and turn of this wild ride.
Motocross has given me everything, and I promise you this: I’m not done yet. Whether on the track or off, my dedication to this sport and this community remains unwavering.
Thank you for being with me through it all. The journey continues, and I’m excited for what the future holds.
With gratitude and determination,
Ken Roczen
